Mindful Parenting

The demands of a baby can be relentless. Projectile vomit and piles of washing, wrapped up in a sleep deprived cocoon of emotions. These wisdom teachers in nappies bring daily challenges (along with joy) and can fracture or strengthen the foundations of our relationships.

We’re often depleted of energy and sometimes wonder how we’ll make it through the day, let alone the rest of the week. We need to learn practical ways to find calm in the chaos and open our mind to radical acceptance of our new reality (we don’t have to wait for a breakdown to build resilience and foster a state of calm)

The joyful approach to parenting will teach you practical tools to cope with the demands of a baby, maintain your own wellbeing and rise up to the daily challenges of parenthood.

Over the 6 week course, you will strengthen your resilience muscle and be given simple tools and practices to reduce anxiety, create a calmer mind and happier home.

“Doing mindfulness for parents with Danica was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone raising a child. One thing that really stood out and I took from it was kindness and understanding towards your partner. Raising a child can be a testing time.

Danica is also going through this journey of parenthood and has a fantastic understanding about what we are all experiencing, she listens, relates and ultimately helped me better connect with my partner”

– Dean Tait (Father 15 month old Murphy)
